Job brief
We are looking for a creative graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our clients needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including, books, leaflets, flyer, magazines; product packaging, websites, exhibitions, corporate identity etc. and you will cooperate directly with the clients, designing team and marketing department. The goal is to get the clients’ message across.

Responsibilities
  • Cultivate a solid body of work
  • Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients’ needs
  • Schedule project implementation and define budget constraints
  • Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
  • Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
  • Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
  • Amend final designs to clients comments and gain full approval
  • Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc.
Requirements and Experience
  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
  • Must have 2-3 experience of working in fast paced and fast turnaround environment in a professional company
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
Qualifications
Although this area of work is open to all graduates, the following subjects may be particularly relevant:
  • Graduate with relevant degree in graphic designing
  • Diploma or certificate in graphic designing from accredited a University/ College
Skills
  • Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Coral Draw etc)
  • Highly proficient in all design aspects
  • Professionalism regarding time, costs and deadlines
  • Knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi(Gurmukhi) typing and understanding will be an added advantage as our most of the clients are from South asian background.
Working hours Working hours tend to be a standard 9.30am to 6.30pm day but could sometimes include shift or weekend work. There may be a requirement to work extra hours to meet deadlines. The marketing manager manages the day to day marketing activities of the organization and long term marketing strategy for the company.

Duties of the Marketing Manager include:
  • Managing all marketing for the company and activities within the marketing department
  • Developing the marketing strategy for the company in line with company objectives
  • Co-coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
  • Overseeing the company’s marketing budget.
  • Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results.
  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity
  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Creating a wide range of different marketing materials
  • Working closely with design agencies and assisting with new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for company marketing.

Requirements of the role
  • Bachelor/Masters degree (M.Sc. or MBA) in Marketing or Business Administration
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Strong creative outlook
  • Willing to work independently and show strong performance.
  • Must be a self-starter and willingness to head start a project on his own.
  • Previous Experience preferred.
  • Willing to work on Saturdays.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi languages will be an added advantage due to local clientele

Responsibilities
The exact nature of the work varies according to the organization, but is likely to include:
  • Working closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures;

What to expect
The work is office-based but may involve travel to other sites such as factories, hotels, government departments or retail outlets, depending on the type and structure of the employer.
Qualifications

  • Business with languages;
  • Law graduate LLB or LLM
  • Business/management;
  • Human resources management;

You will need to have:
